David WhitakerDavid Whitaker is the Vice President, Business Development and Communications for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, which operates Port Columbus International, Rickenbacker International and Bolton Field Airports in Columbus, Ohio. David is responsible for all internal and external communications, including the media. Additionally, David is the liaison between the Authority and the air carriers, responsible for air service development and airline tenant affairs. David joined the Authority in June, 1997 after 13 years with America West Airlines. With America West David was the station manager for its operations at San Jose, CA, Tucson, AZ and the Director of Customer Service for the Columbus hub. Mr. Whitaker graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in 1982 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Secondary Education.
Justin Reynolds Justin is a Columbus, Ohio native. He graduated from Ohio University in Athens and was commissioned an officer in the US Air Force the same day. Stationed at bases in the panhandle of Florida for his four year commitment, Justin travelled extensively to support his and sister squadrons around the world. Justin's specialization was as a trainer and evaluator Senior Director in an Air Control Squadron which participated in various counter drug, air superiority, refugee, and communications roles. Justin achieved a MS in International Relations from Troy State University while in the Air Force. Moving back to Columbus, he broke into the transportation field as a Senior International Transportation Coordinator for Limited Brands, coordinating airfreight bids, managing a monthly 'scorecard' process with airfreight forwarders, and providing customer service to the brands. In 1999 Justin moved to the fulfillment services support division of Spiegel Group to manage international transportation. Now managing all inbound transportation, Justin is responsible for carrier
contracting and relations, supporting receiving departments and merchants with tracking and reporting, and ensuring the owned trailer fleet and yard operations are performing optimally. After Spiegel Group filed for protection under Chapter 11 and sold Spiegel and Newport News brands, Eddie Bauer Fulfillment Services was created as a division of Eddie Bauer Holdings, supporting just Eddie Bauer. In his spare time Justin enjoys jogging, soccer, golf, and hiking with his wife Jen and dog Reggie.
Gary Paine
Gary is a graduate of Robert Morris College. Major in Business
During school Gary worked night operations for an Airfreight Company. After graduation he transferred to the Los Angeles office where after one year he purchased 2 trucks and began a business as an owner operator. Gary sold that business and took a sales position for a major airfreight company. The next 7 years brought several promotions and transfers in operations, sales, and management throughout the Midwest with a final stop in Columbus, Ohio.
A Company merger forced Gary to look at other options. He purchased a franchise with Pilot Air Freight in 1983. In 1990 he founded what is now Accurate Transportation and Accurate Express a full truckload company and truckload brokerage, serving 48 states.
Pilot Air Freight, Pilot Cartage, Accurate Express, and Accurate Transportation operate from a 30,000 sq. ft facility near Rickenbacker Int'l Airport.
Personal: Born 1953 in Pittsburgh, Pa. married for 28 (wonderful) years to Janet Malloy Paine, two children Casey 22 and Sean 20. Gary resides in Gahanna, Ohio where he enjoys sailing, flying, playing squash, weight training, running, and restoring classic cars.

Jeff Pilof
Jeff Pilof is the President of Logicity SCS Corporation, a supply chain services company based in Columbus, Ohio that focuses on ground expedited, local cartage, and dedicated logistics. Before starting Logicity SCS, Jeff held a number of positions in procurement and transportation management with Abercrombie & Fitch, PPG Industries, Nabisco, and Merck & Co. Jeff received his masters degree in business logistics from the Pennsylvania State University in 1997 and his undergraduate degree in business from the Pennsylvania State University in 1993. Jeff is married 10 years to his wife Dana and has two daughters ages 2 and 4. In his spare time Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and occasionally sneaking out for basketball, golf, working out, and poker.
Nadine LaFond is the North America Regional Vice President of Fashion & Retail for Panalpina, Inc, based in Columbus, Ohio.
Nadine has over 24 years in the international logistics field on the East Coast and Midwest.
She has had the opportunity to travel the globe several times, visiting locations in Asia, Central and South America, Europe and the Indian Sub Continent. Each trip continues to be a learning experience for Nadine, and she hopes she can one day share these experiences with her two young children.
Nadine has been actively involved with the Columbus Regional Air Cargo Association since its inception 4 years ago. Her past contributions to the cargo community include, involvement in the Advance Logistics Council, CEFM project, and a Mentorship program with the emphasis on logistics within the high schools.
Megan Novak
Megan Novak is a Senior Transportation Analyst for Mainfreight Limited, a global supply chain logistics provider specializing in transportation services throughout New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the United States. Megan was born and raised in Indonesia and returned to the United States to obtain her degree in Business Management from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio. Megan moved to the Columbus area after college and met and married her husband of 20 years, Todd. They live in Sunbury, Ohio with their three children and are active in their church, school and community. Megan has worked in the transportation industry for 16 years, 7 of those years as an Independent Sales Contractor. Megan recently returned to the forwarding group with whom she previously worked with as Target Logistics, now Mainfreight USA Columbus, Ohio. Megan is beginning her 10th year with the Columbus group and is looking forward to growing the Columbus, Ohio market and serving on the Columbus Regional Air Cargo Association Board.
